At one time, Detroit was filled with glittering Palaces. Places where bands performed and thousands of faithful fans danced their nights and their troubles away. Places,  like the Michigan Theater, the Flame Show Bar, the Bluebird Inn and the Grande Ballroom, to name only a few. Detroit was truly a hot spot for world class talent and has been overlooked for its Pre-Motown contributions to creating new music.

As time went by, the music created in this era forged what is known today as the "Great American Songbook". This collection of songs is arguably, the only true American Art Form.  We have all grown up to the melody of these songs and can remember moments they capture.

Pam will perform many of these Swing and Latin classics written from around 1912 thru the 1960's, mixed with new songs and popular hits. Music by well known writers like Irving Berlin, Rogers and Hart, George and Ira Gershwin, Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Fats Waller and many more. Songs made popular by Ella, Louie, Frank, Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee, Anita O' Day and countless others.
